The login and disconnect sounds on the Hotline Server should be a little more contrasting. They are hard to tell which is which. I like to easily hear when someone logs into and out of my server. But, the sounds are so similar, it's hard to tell which they are doing. They could be a little louder too. __ __ /| | /| | \ / | | | LaserLinX | | | "Life is a terminal \ / | | | Jeffrey J. I am a fan of certain extentions and control panels like DoubleScroll and SmartScroll and because you're using custom CDEFs for your interface, I get such things as regular scrollbars instead of double arrow scrollbars. Granted, they look nice and all but if I change the appearance of windows and buttons in Kaleidoscope, Hotline looks like a vicious patchwork of user-interface elements. Apple created certain standards for programs and even provided the Toolbox to make it easy for all applications to implement a user interface in a consistant manner. +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Tyler Riti | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- End of The Hotline Users Digest --- Internet Message Header Follows --- Received: from www.fwparker.org by bertrand.ccs.carleton.ca (SMI-8.6/SMI-4.0) id EAA24914; Fri, 7 Mar 1997 04:00:04 -0500 Message-Id: <199703070900.EAA24914.24914@bertrand.ccs.carleton.ca> From: The Hotline Users Mailing List To: The Hotline Users Mailing List Subject: The Hotline Users Digest #53 - 03/07/97 Date: Fri, 7 Mar 97 03:00:01 -0600 Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain Precedence: Bulk X-List-Software: LetterRip 1.0.2 by Fog City Software, Inc.
