Correct, I will put an icon in if it's good, but don't ask for a password 
- only people with very good reasons get those.

The toolbar is NOT going to be in b21, but will probably be in b22.

Also, how the button looks when clicked is going to be slightly different 
to give a depressed look (thanks terry!).

And in the options window:

Toolbar:
[X] Easy
[ ] Advanced

Easy is the default.  When easy, the "edit toolbar" buttons are not shown 
and some of the more advanced items are now shown on the bar.

Also, you'll be able to command-control-click (configurable) in any 
window to bring up the Launch menu from the toolbar.  This is similar to 
NeXT.

Clicking the close box will hide the toolbar.  There should be a key to 
show it again.  F11?  Suggestions?

Also, a key (F12?) to show the toolbar centered around the current mouse 
position.  Click an item and the toolbar disappears (only if it was not 
visible to begin with).

Yes, have changed that to make it look depressed.

It would not be a custom toolbar if that's what you mean (custom toolbar 
can't implement all of the features).  It would replace the current 
default toolbar.

It's just a mockup - the real thing will have the button (except if you 
turn it off using the second menu!  :).

Please don't use F keys, I know 5 people who want to get on the internet
and Hotline that don't have F keys, I might not even have them if this
keyboard breaks again.

Use Option-Command-Number instead.

I'll use both.  Although option-command-number is not very nice.  Anyone 
got a better suggestion?

I have an idea about custom toolbars Adam, could you make it so a person
could have more then one toolbar in a toolbar file, lets say maybe 5, the
user could flip through each be clicking the grow button on the toolbar.
This way a toolbar file could have a small and large toolbars and different
ppats for each one. And if the maker wanted they could use the same
pictures for them or use different ones. Yes yes I know this sounds very
complex but it should be very easy in C++.

This is a fake sample of code just to give to an idea of how it could be don=
e.

     hideBar(curID);
     curID =3D=3D curID+1;

     if curID > maxBars {

     }

I hope this is understandable and no this isn't C++ its a mix of Pascal,
=46utureBASIC and Perl but it should give you an idea how it could work.

Well, that's an option, so one can use names when he begins and hide them
when he knows the icons, after... two days, maybe three? :)

I was talking about the look of pressed buttons, but forget it, my English
is not good enough. Sorry.

Every features I didn't quote are great, and I specially like this last
one. But I agree with Paul Ramsey about function keys. A lot of keyboards
miss them. Would be cool if you make the shortcuts configurables.

I suppose I could do those "tooltips" thingeys that Windows and Netscape 
uses (little window with name that appears when you linger over a 
button), but I find them annoying...
