Like I said. As it has also been mentioned, of course Hotline wasn't designed specifically for software piracy, nor has it done anything to revolutionize the practice. The gross spelling and grammatical errors combined with the blatantly stupid tone of the message that started this thread lead me to believe that the whole thing was either a joke, or some attempt to defile Hotline. So, let's just forget about it. -Jason ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: Trackers From: bit@cyberstreet.com (Jason Yates) (by way of Phil Hilton) Date: Tue, 13 May 1997 23:33:21 -0400 Hey what are some trackers anyway? I have an IP to one right now (don't know it's 'official' name) and I'd like to see what other servers are out there. Ok, thanks. -Jason ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: Re: Recognizing Mac Servers From: Adam Hinkley Date: Wed, 14 May 97 14:26:53 +1000 >>>ok, that is a good idea, fundamentaly....but what happens if (for some >>>reason known only to god) i, a mac owner, want to go to a pc server.... >> >>Then you use a PC tracker. >> >>>clearly support for multiple trackers is needed...i suggest you have a >>>menu...with subdirectories...illustrated below: >> >>Yes, a popup menu to switch between trackers is on my To Do list. > >Hey Adam, what ever happened to the Multiconnect thing? It's not forgotten, it's just not going to be in the final 1.1. Version 2.0 will have the multiconnect. ........................................................... /| _ / | | | Adam Hinkley | |_| | CEO/Software Development | _ | O T L I N E | | | |COMMUNICATIONS adam@HotlineSW.com |_| | | http://www.HotlineSW.com/ |/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- End of The Hotline Users Digest
