i know of a program in the works that scans your files, and alerts you of
duplicate IP's. But that's all. (HBM "Hotline Bookmark Manager")

be hard wrapped - dunno if that's a good idea.

Agreed. Not that i'm too blind, but I get stupid everyonce in a while too
ya know....

hinks had isaid that SMTP would be too much work to implement. but i REALLY
like the msg wating thing.  Like having a virtual answering machine! course
I don't know how it could deal with nick impersonating. IP's are dynamic
too.

Then the client app will find the entry in the log, and delete it.

Make it manditory that ALL file org should be done via the client. Not that
big o' deal. If it gets mesed up, it's the admins fault for not reading the
Read me file.  :)

How bout a file veiwable via teh client witrh certain privs? it can be
cleared and/ot edited from the client too. again, I'm REALLY into remote
administration! Especially with my situaion and ML!

All file org via the client??  No way!  I often organise the files in the 
finder - it'd be real pain if I was forced to do everything from the 
client.

That's something I don't like about FirstClass - you can't do into the 
Files with the Finder and have a look around.

was unable to detect any performance improvement.

What _I_ meant, was that EVERY LAST BIT of file organization be done
through the client app.  I have talked to hinks about this through priv.
e-mail since then, and it is no-longer an issue.

It's a fruitcaking printer driver!   Actually, it's a combination of an 
application and INIT.

The INIT patches GetNextEvent() presumabley to schedule extra processing 
time for Hotline.  

However, this is unlikely to improve performance noticeably because 
Hotline already schedules itself from interrupts.
