I'm not sure this reason is come from charactor of hotline or still are not used so many users than FTP. However, actually I can say that hotline is very nice to exchange files doing chat in same time. BTW, should I know yor nick name in hotline? Thanks and regars Thanks & regards. K. If not, I am willing to do so if I could get my hands on the first 15 digests. -Craig Wilcox P.S. Great job Adam! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: Re: question From: "D. Gaul" Date: Thu, 30 Jan 1997 10:48:41 -0800 (PST) Ok, hotline is not FTP. Programs like fetch are ftp programs. I am unsure of the way that Hotline transfers files, but in my own opinion, it can be faster the FTP downloading files, and is a lot fast uploading files. There are advantages using hotline to transfer files as well that Fetch has not incorperated in an "official" release, one big one is resuming transfers. Hotline also has a better looking interface, and is easy to use. You can also "que" files or just have them all transfer at the same time. melbo On Thu, 30 Jan 1997, Nattalia Zeviar wrote: > Hello, > > I have not tried this method about FTP at hotline yet since I am new to > it like you. > Smile > Nattalia > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: Re: Is something wrong? I am starting an HTML based newsletter called Earthworm Digest, and I need contributions of art and writing. It is probably going to be a pretty diverse thing based on what gets contributed; I am looking to have humor, educational, fiction, poetry; basicly anything, especially stuff related to computers and the computing lifestyle.. If anyone is interested in details just e-mail me. Thanks.. -Jason ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: Re: question From: Adam Hinkley Date: Fri, 31 Jan 97 17:23:05 +1100 >Hi there.
