Mia.Net is a division of Bella Mia, Inc., a Privately held Corporation in the State of Wisconsin. Mia.Net has been providing Internet Services since 1997. We provide a host of products and services from Dialup to Fiber. We also offer a full range of Web Hosting, Domain Name Registration, Dedicated Servers, and Colocation Services.

It's hard to believe we started our business from a home, nearly 7 miles from the nearest Telecommunications Central Office with just a Fractional T1 and one server.

Since those early days our company has grown to include several different areas of business in the Internet arena. And our Network has grown to include several Fiber and Ethernet connections.

Today, all of us here at Mia.Net remain committed to maintaining our reputation for outstanding technical excellence and service. During 2010 and beyond, Mia.Net will continue to innovate and expand our network to meet the ever growing demands of our customers. We want you to feel like you are part of our family.

We currently host over 1000 Internet servers on various platforms from around the world. Our hosting and reseller servers host over 75,000 web sites from all parts of the globe.

We were Burlington's first ISP, the first ISP in Wisconsin to offer V.90, and were the first provider of Wireless Internet Services in our state. We are continually upgrading our network of telecommunications on a regular basis and are committed to being the leader in cutting edge technology and consumer internet services.

In late 2008 we sold our Wireless Internet company, Wisconsin Wireless (DSLone).  DSLone served as the states first broadband provider and first provider of wireless services.  We pretty much pioneered the wireless broadband revolution and provided a wide range of services to rural areas of wisconsin, long before cable and DSL were ever available. We pretty much were "The Last Mile!"

Our NOC is connected via multiple Fiber/Ethernet to COGENT and TimeWarner. Our 100% switched, Cisco Routed Network runs BGP4 (Border Gateway Protocol) for redundancy to insure that our network is running at 99.998% uptime. We have our own ASN and IP Space and as such are completely autonomous.

Green Programs and Activities: Mia.net currently hosts in an environmentally friendly location with 2/3rds of our facilities property covered in trees and plant life. Our servers utilize green power supplies and lower power CPUs to reduce our carbon footprint. Our office use compact fluorescent lighthing and other low carbon emitting devices to reduce our overall carbon output and keep our environment safe for future generations to come.
