Configuring Anarchie

Anarchie 1.6

This is a tutorial showing you how to set up Anarchie in order to connect to our server, and transfer your files into the proper place to get served to the world.

1. Start the application by double clicking on the program icon. After the program starts, a bookmark window will appear.
   
   
2. Choose the "Get" item under the "FTP" menu at the top of the screen. You will then see the standard connect screen:
   

    

3. Choose the Machine Name:
   1. Basic Website customers : Use "ftp.mia.net" as the Machine as shown.
   2. Domain Website customers : Use "ftp.yourdomain.com" as the Machine name.
      Note: This will only work when your domain name has been finalized with InterNIC. In the meantime, you must enter ftp.mia.net in the machine name to connect.
      
      
4. Replace "username" with your own login name, and of course, your own password. This should then connect you to the Mia.Net server.
   
   
5. Once you are connected, you will see a screen that shows you a list of files in your directory. This is a sample of an images folder:
   

   This screen shows you the current files located on our server in your account.
   
   

6. To transfer files to your account, use the "Put..." item under the "FTP" menu, and choose which files or folders you wish to upload.
   
   
7. To download files from your account to your home computer, simply double click on the file you wish to download.
