is a division of Bella Mia,
Inc., a
Privately held Corporation in the State
of Wisconsin. Mia.Net has been
providing Internet Services since 1997.
We provide a host of products and
services from Dialup to High Speed
Wireless. We also offer the full range
of Web Hosting, Domain Name
Registration, Dedicated Servers, and
Colocation Services.
It's
hard to believe we started our business
from a home, nearly 7 miles from the
nearest Telecommunications Central
Office with just a Fractional T1 and
one server.
Since
those early days our company has grown
to include several different areas of
business in the Internet arena. And our
Network has grown to include several
DS3 and T1 connections.
Today,
all of us here at Mia.Net remain
committed to maintaining our reputation
for outstanding technical excellence
and service. During 2003 and beyond,
Mia.Net will continue to innovate and
expand our network to meet the ever
growing demands of our customers. We
want you to feel like you are part of
our family.
We
currently host over 150 Internet
servers on various platforms from
around the world. Our hosting and
reseller servers host over 12,000 web
sites from all parts of the globe. Some
of our current customers include, the
FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization
of the United Nations), The University
of Florida, Akamai Technologies,
www.kubrick2001.com and several Major
Web Host Resellers.
Our
NOC is connected via multiple DS1 and
DS3 to Savvis AT&T, and SBC
Communications. Our 100% switched,
Cisco Routed Network runs BGP4 (Border
Gateway Protocol) for redundancy to
insure that our network is running at
99.8% uptime. We have our own ASN and
IP Space and as such are completely
autonomous.
We
were Burlington's first ISP, the first
ISP in Wisconsin to offer V.90, and
were the first provider of Wireless
Internet Services in our state. We are
continually upgrading our network of
telecommunications on a regular basis
and are committed to being the leader
in cutting edge technology and consumer
internet services.
